burnMemory is not something you sign up for. Most of the cost is people: interviews, transcription, and a reviewer reading every memory with your family. We quote after the first call, once we know what your archive holds.

What moves the price

How much material there is

A drawer of letters and 8,000 messages take longer to read than 200 photographs. Volume is the main driver.

How much of it is clean

Noisy cassettes, faded handwriting and undated photographs need human hands. Clean recordings cost less to process.

How many people we interview

Six sessions are included. Large families who want everyone recorded add sessions, and add depth.

What is not included

We would rather tell you now than at handover.

A video avatar. We are not building one yet, and we will not pretend otherwise.
A voice, if there is no usable recording or no written consent. We will say so on the first call.
Answers about anything the archive does not contain. That is the product working, not failing.
Public sharing. Every archive is private to one family.
